I will help others explore their truth as they courageously live their individual adventure. I will challenge them to awaken a ferocious passion for their own journey and extend this to lives of all humans with the yoga practice.

Life is too short to do something that doesn't bring you joy.

I'm Sara 

I’m Sara, your mountain mama and yoga enthusiast with a mermaid’s heart. In the summer, you’ll catch me paddling on the water or climbing to high altitude and in the winter, I’m either gliding down the slopes or hiking through snow-covered trails with my friends and family.

I’m based in Washington state but have a deep love for Montana and Utah along with every alpine lake and mountain in between.

Yoga has empowered me with strength and confidence, transforming me into a better mom, skier, SUP racer, runner, and hiker. For me, yoga is an intimate, sacred yet playful and exploratory journey. It’s meant to be enjoyed, challenging and light-hearted. You’ll always leave my class feeling strong, spacious and rejuvenated. In my teachings I have a strong focus on anatomy and alignment to help you create a deeper understanding of yourself as you, build strength and stability while aligning your energies. I’m passionate about simplicity but love inviting new experiences to the class. 

 




MY STORY

 

My dedication began just a short time after rolling out my mat in a hot yoga class. In 2010 I started the journey of my first YTT certification, leading to the creation of Just Breathe Yoga in 2011. Fast forward twelve years later and I’ve had the joy of guiding students on their mats, creating a unique “studio-less” yoga experience. From yoga on the lawn to classes in a cozy yurt and even floating on water with SUP yoga. By 2016, I was leading my own teacher trainings.

I love sharing the magic of nature and adventure through my practice. My love for water led me to achieve my SUP Master Trainer and WPA level 2 certification in 2018. I’m currently finishing my 500-hour certification with Yoga Medicine. 

I am thrilled to have you join me and share this vibrant journey!
